Not long ago, we learned of a new addition to historic downtown Siler City, Peppercorn, a restaurant and venue. We’ve checked in periodically and were pleased to learn that the annual Mardi Gras event, which supports the NC Arts Incubator music series and programs, will be hosted at Peppercorn, the first event held on-site.
Mardi Gras is certainly a huge celebration in New Orleans, and the annual evening of festivities in Siler City offers a glimpse of the tastiest aspects of Mardi Gras. It’s THE perfect end to a day of folk art and you’ll be among the very first to dine in style at Peppercorn.
The sumptuous menu includes:
Shrimp Creole
Gumbo
Bourbon Sweet Potatoes
Shrimp Remoulade
Muffalatas
Mini Quiches
Red Beans and Rice
King Cake
Bread Pudding and Pralines
Beignets
The Creole Jazz band, The Second Line Stompers Band, will entertain throughout the evening, to lend to the festive mood. Take a chance and find out about your future with the fortune telling that evening, participate in the raffle of fun prizes, and more.
Join us, Sat, Feb 25, 7pm. Laissez les bons temps rouler!
